- Log in to Fluidkey and access the dashboard
- Select “Bank”
- Agree to the terms provided by Bridge
- Complete KYC verification (Official processing time is typically under 5 minutes)
Upon approval, you'll see the following details under the Bank tab:

These accounts function as your “Fluidkey Dedicated USD / EUR Accounts”
Step 2 Transfer Funds from Your Bank to Your Fluidkey Account
- Open your original bank app/online banking
- Add a new payee and enter your Fluidkey USD / EUR account number
- Select transfer method: Enter amount, confirm transfer
- US / ACH-enabled accounts → Use ACH
- European accounts → Use SEPA
- Large amounts (over $10,000) → Consider Wire Transfer
Step 3 What Happens after Funds are Deposited?
The USD / EUR you transfer from your bank is automatically converted by Bridge into USDC / EURC and deposited into your Fluidkey self-custody wallet.
What you see in the interface: Your USDC / EURC balance increases on the corresponding chain.
You can adjust the “default deposit chain” on the Bank page, such as Base, Polygon, Ethereum, etc.
How to Withdraw Funds Back to Your Bank Using Fluidkey?
Step 1 Prepare your On-Chain Assets
For withdrawals, we recommend using USDC/EURC as the withdrawal asset for optimal exchange rates and operational stability.
Assets must reside on supported withdrawal chains: Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon.
If your assets are on other chains, you may first need to transfer them to a supported chain via a bridge or other cross-chain tool.
Step 2 Create a Bank Recipient in Fluidkey
In your wallet's asset list, locate the token you wish to withdraw (e.g., USDC on Base).
- Tap the adjacent “Send” or ↗ button.
- Click the “Bank icon” in the recipient field (to)
- Add a bank recipient: Enter bank account details (account number, SWIFT/IBAN, name, etc.)
Save as a contact for direct selection in future withdrawals.
Step 3 Enter Amount & Confirm Transfer
- Select the bank contact you just created
- Enter the withdrawal amount (in USD / EUR)
- Confirm estimated exchange amount and fees
- Sign the on-chain transaction to complete the withdrawal instruction
Subsequent process:
Fluidkey Wallet (USDC / EURC) → Bridge exchange to USD / EUR → ACH / SEPA / Wire → Recipient's bank
Funds typically appear in the recipient's account within 1 business day, though actual timing depends on the recipient's bank and clearing network.

Fee Structure & Calculation: How is the Free Allowance Determined?
According to Fluidkey Docs, the monthly free deposit/withdrawal allowance (including USD/EUR) is based on your Fluidkey Score on-chain credit rating. After exceeding the monthly free allowance, a flat 0.3% fee applies to all deposits and withdrawals.
Fluidkey Score below 10,000 points: First $3,000 of monthly bank deposits/withdrawals fee-free
Fluidkey Score above 10,000 points: First $20,000 of monthly bank deposits/withdrawals fee-free
Fluidkey+ subscribers: First $30,000 of monthly bank deposits/withdrawals fee-free. Fluidkey+ annual fee is approximately $899, with a $20,000 asset threshold required in the account.
Other relevant fees:
Minimum transfer amount
- ACH / SEPA: $1 / €1
- Wire: $10,000 (lower amounts may incur a $25 fixed fee)
On-chain Gas Fees
All withdrawals are essentially on-chain transactions
You must pay the network's gas fees (typically ranging from tens of cents to several dollars, depending on the chain and current congestion)
What Restrictions Apply to USD Deposits/Withdrawals?
Restriction 1 Source Account Restrictions: Third-party personal IBANs are currently not supported
- If transferring from your own European account to your Fluidkey IBAN → OK
- If transferring directly from a third-party personal IBAN (e.g., a European friend or individual client) → Currently unavailable
Specific restrictions for corporate/business accounts require assessment based on actual KYC and Bridge rules.
Restriction 2 Chain and Token Restrictions: Not all chain-based coins support direct withdrawals
- Supported withdrawal chains: Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon
- Supported tokens: Officially stated as “any token can be attempted,” but USDC/EURC is strongly recommended for optimal exchange rates and experience
Restriction 3 KYC and Regional Restrictions: Not everyone can necessarily activate this feature
Although the official documentation does not explicitly list a complete “supported countries list,” it can be reasonably inferred that:
- Whether you can activate bank deposit/withdrawal functionality depends on Bridge + local regulations
- Certain high-risk/sanctioned regions or restricted countries may be ineligible
- Actual eligibility is determined by whether you successfully pass KYC after selecting “Bank” in Fluidkey
Restriction 4 Deposits to US brokers may face rejection in practice
Brokers are more sensitive to funds originating from “crypto-related services”.
This may result in refunds, requests for additional documentation, or outright rejection of such sources.
If you're planning a “funds in hand, assets globally” strategy, Fluidkey is a tool worth exploring and testing with small amounts. We recommend first conducting 1-2 full-process trials with minimal funds, carefully calculating actual fees + exchange rate costs. As you gain familiarity with the tool, assess your risk tolerance and overall asset allocation plan to develop the most flexible long-term usage strategy.
