We're thrilled to announce the latest enhancement to our platform: Reserved Funds. This feature empowers you with unprecedented control over your investments, allowing you to designate funds that are off-limits for lending.

How It Works

Accessing Reserved Funds is simple. Just navigate to the AI Settings section on our website, where you'll find the option to specify the amount you wish to reserve (see red box in the above image). Whether it's $0.10 or $100, for a one-time use or a larger sum for ongoing protection, the choice is yours. 

If your funds are currently in pending orders and yet to be lent out, the orders will be taken down, and your specified amount will be reserved before orders are put up again. 

Seamless Integration

Once your funds are successfully reserved, you'll receive a confirmation email. If your entire balance is currently lent out, don't worry; we'll notify you as soon as your funds are returned and reserved. 

Remembering Your Preferences

You can withdraw all or part of your Reserved Funds once they’re reserved. It's important to note that Reserved Funds persist until you manually adjust them back to zero. If you forget to do so, the designated amount will remain reserved indefinitely, preventing it from being used for lending purposes.

For example, if your Reserved Funds are set at $100 and you withdraw $20 without resetting the amount to zero, $80 remains designated as Reserved Funds. The system maintains the Reserved Funds amount until it returns to $100. It's crucial to proactively manage your Reserved Funds to ensure they align with your current financial needs and goals.

Please note : If you set the Reserved Funds amount to be more than what you currently have in your Bitfinex Wallet, the bot will not be able to lend out any of your funds.
